Pages are pre-rendered at build time as pure static HTML, and only the components requiring active engagement — the virtual mbira player and checkout — hydrate client-side via Astro's island architecture.

Rather than relying on static video embeds or opaque streaming widgets, Whyire engineered an interactive multi-track web instrument. Visitors can isolate, mix, and experience the interlocking polyrhythms of kushaura and kutsinhira directly in the browser.
